Xiaomei He
Xiaomei (Annie) He is a Principal Scientist at ProtaGene, where she leads numerous biotherapeutic projects requiring significant innovation to enable successful program advancement. She has deep expertise in LC-MS analysis of complex biologics and macromolecules and is highly regarded for her scientific accomplishments, particularly in method development for the detailed characterization of fusion proteins, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), complex disulfides, and diverse capsid-based gene therapy products, as well as the quantification of ultra-low-abundance biologic species and mRNA attributes. Annie brings over 20 years of experience in LC-MS, with previous experience at Momenta Pharmaceuticals and Genzyme. In addition to her technical expertise, she has a strong ability to troubleshoot complex analytical challenges, and develop practical, innovative solutions to difficult scientific and analytical problems. She is recognized for her analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to advance challenging projects through creative and scientifically rigorous approaches. Annie earned M.S. degrees in Analytical Chemistry from the Barnett Institute at Northeastern University.
