Valeria received a B.S. in Biology with minor in Chemistry at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine. Valeria then transitioned to Yale University where she earned a Ph.D in Genetics and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Biophysics and Biochemistry. Her research at Yale focused on human cancer predisposition syndromes and mechanisms of DNA repair. Over her extensive scientific carrier, Valeria held positions of increasing responsibility in multiple biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Valeria is a highly trained scientific leader with an extensive expertise in immunology, biologics discovery, lead optimization, protein engineering and a recognized expert in in vitro display platforms.
