Ulrich Wuellner currently holds the position, Director Scientific Analysis, External Scientific Innovation at Johnson and Johnson. Within this role Ulrich is involved in search and evaluation of external opportunities in the biologics and cell therapy space with a focus on oncology and immunology applications. Ulrich previously held various positions with increasing responsibility at a small bispecific antibody biotech company (Covagen AG) which was acquired by Johnson and Johnson. Ulrich is a biochemist by training and holds a PhD from the Applied University of Aachen, Germany and completed his postdoctoral training in protein engineering at the Scripps Research Institute under the supervision of Carlos Barbas, Phd.
