Franqui brings more than two decades of experience advancing biologics and nucleic acid platforms, with a track record of translating innovation into clinical and commercial realities across leading biopharma organizations. Most recently, at Moderna, he led CMC strategy for mRNA therapeutics and vaccines, supporting global regulatory submissions and platform scale-up. Previously, at Sanofi/Genzyme and Amgen, he built and led organizations enabling late-stage development, manufacturing readiness, and global technology transfer for complex biologics programs. His career reflects consistent impact at key inflection points in platform evolution, spanning traditional biologics to next-generation genetic medicines. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Wisconsin–Madison.
