Dr. Sahai is a biomedical engineer with strong background in stem cells, biomaterials and immunotherapy. He has more than 15 years of experience in research, translation, clinical manufacturing and process development. He has been instrumental in bringing therapies from internal and external collaborators from research phase to clinical phase and support lifecycle management of the products. Currently, he is leading upstream development of allogeneic and next generation therapies at Kite Pharma.
