Stephen earned his PhD in Chemical Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University at the Center for Drug Discovery and completed a postdoc at the University of California San Diego in Chemical Glycobiology. Dr. Verespy has expertise in small molecule organic synthesis, linker design and synthesis, and bioconjugation focused on ADCs, glycan, oligonucleotide, and peptide conjugates. Dr. Verespy has been with Abzena for one year serving as Director, Scientific Office and prior to that spent six years at a biotech in San Diego, most recently leading Bioconjugation and Chemistry efforts.
