Simona joined WuXi Advanced Therapies in 2012 as a laboratory technician after several years of work in other laboratories.  She spent six years working in the company’s testing laboratories in roles of increasing responsibility, eventually transitioning from her role as a Scientist and Director in our Viral Clearance department to join the commercial team in 2019. In addition to providing in-process and release testing for the therapy developers who engage with WuXi Advanced Therapies for development and clinical and commercial manufacturing, WuXi Advanced Therapies provides contract testing services to therapy developers who manufacture their own products as well as most of the industry’s contract development and manufacturing organizations.
