With extensive experience in antibody engineering, immune library generation, and in vivo discovery strategies, Shawn has advanced multiple antibody programs into the clinic. His expertise spans immunization design, antigen presentation strategies, and immune repertoire shaping to maximize functional diversity against difficult targets. He has directed discovery efforts across GPCRs, ion channels, and complex membrane proteins, with a focus on improving developability, screening depth, and downstream success. At Abkyu, he drives scientific strategy and platform innovation to expand optionality and de-risk biologic development.
