Shachar Barak is the Antibody Engineering Team Lead at Converge, where she leads the research of AI-based solutions for antibody design and optimization. Previously a software engineer at Google, contributing to the Google cloud database migration service, she joined Converge at its early days and helped build its antibody engineering solution from a proof of concept into a full platform. Shachar holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science and Bioinformatics. In her thesis, she developed an optimization-based algorithm to build customized protein evolution models.
