Seppe Hermans is a doctoral candidate as part of the doctoral network Medicine Made to Measure. In the network’s efforts to establish a platform within Europe for the treatment of N-of-1 neurological diseases using splice switching oligonucleotides Seppe works on a standardised manufacturing process. This network is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions scheme, GA no. 101120256. Aside from these efforts, Seppe volunteers as part of the N=1 collaborative, co-leading the CMC workgroup. With this workgroup, best practices are shared, and educational content is generated regarding the manufacturing of N-of-1 therapies.
