Sandeep Kumar is a Senior Director and Head of Biologics at DEM Biopharma. He has extensive expertise in experimental and computational protein engineering, including over 10 years of experience in leading antibody discovery and engineering teams at several biotech companies. Sandeep’s research interests include in vitro display technologies, antibody libraries, antibody optimization, and novel biologics modalities. Sandeep has a PhD in Biological Chemistry from The Ohio State University. Sandeep has over 20 peer-reviewed publications and he is the co-inventor on several patents. He has led the discovery and engineering of several antibodies currently in the clinic or pre-clinical development.
