Dr. Rowshon Alam holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic and Bio-organic Chemistry from Kyushu University, Japan. He is a Vice President at Prime Medicine, where he leads Guide RNA Chemistry and In-Process Analytics. With over 25 years of experience spanning academia and the biopharmaceutical industry, he is an expert in oligonucleotide chemistry, process development, scale-up, and GLP/GMP manufacturing. He has established state-of-the-art laboratories for long guide RNA production and led successful CDMO tech transfers for cGMP manufacturing. Dr. Alam has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and patents.
