Romelia Salomon-Ferrer, PhD, Director of Computational Chemistry at Sandbox AQ, interfacing between clients and R&D bringing innovative solutions to the most challenging problems in Drug Discovery. Dr Salomon-Ferrer has extensive knowledge in theoretical chemistry, starting her career in academia developing advanced sampling methods using Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics, working in renowned institutions like Caltech and Berkeley. Following her desire to have a positive impact on people’s lives through her work, she transitioned to work in industry joining Pfizer where she developed extensive experience in Drug Discovery and state of the art Computational Chemistry methods aimed at delivering novel therapies to patients.
