Dr. Remi-Martin Laberge is the Co-founder, Senior Vice President, and Head of Research at Arda Therapeutics, where he leads groundbreaking projects in drug discovery and research, particularly focusing on chronic and age-related diseases. With extensive experience in the biotech industry, Dr. Laberge has held pivotal roles at UNITY Biotechnology, including Principal Investigator and Associate Principal Investigator, where he spearheaded the development of senolytic strategies and advanced several therapeutic candidates to clinical trials. He also served as Vice-President of Scientific Operations at IRICoR, managing a portfolio of over 20 drug discovery programs and establishing intellectual property strategies. In addition to his industry roles, Dr. Laberge has been a Scientific Advisor for RML Consulting since 2012, providing expert guidance to numerous drug discovery organizations. He holds a Ph.D. from McGill University, where he researched the molecular mechanisms of collateral sensitivity in MDR tumor cells, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, investigating cellular senescence and its implications for aging and cancer.
