Prabha Ramakrishnan is a business development leader at the interface of genomics and drug discovery, currently driving strategic pharma partnerships at Illumina’s BioInsight business unit. Her work spans two complementary mandates - translating Illumina’s genomic data assets, including the Billion Cell Atlas, into partnerships that accelerate target discovery and validation, and expanding the data ecosystem itself through collaborations that build new modalities and datasets.

With over a decade of experience spanning synthetic biology and drug discovery, Prabha has led and closed pivotal discovery partnerships across early-stage biotechs and large pharma. Prior to Illumina, she held BD and strategy roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, Invert, and Zymergen. She holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Rice University.
