Philip Gorman
Philip Gorman received his BS in Physiology/Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut, his MS in Molecular/Cellular Biology from Southern CT State University and his Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business & Technology. He is a scientific innovator and operations leader recognized for combining hands-on antibody discovery expertise with the ability to mentor and scale high-performing teams. His career extends from building new assay labs and discovery workflows through director-level responsibility for downstream characterization, portfolio delivery and R&D business operations.
He has developed depth in hybridoma, single B cell cloning, and phage display while creating automation, informatics, and compliance systems that enabled efficiency, scalability, and stronger partner confidence.
He is known for shaping strategy, budgets, and service design while ensuring execution in the lab. He has introduced scalable workflows, data governance platforms, and training programs that elevated quality and accelerated decision-making. With multiple patents and publications and an Executive MBA, he is ready for roles of increased scope where advanced discovery, operational discipline, and strategic leadership converge to deliver enterprise impact.
