Oliver Hill is the Senior Director of Protein Engineering at YUMAB, bringing over 30 years of experience in the design and development of recombinant proteins. His expertise spans antibodies, antibody fragment based approaches, bispecifics design and agonist fusion proteins, with a particular focus on targeting the TNF receptor superfamily. He combines deep scientific expertise with strategic client engagement, supporting target selection, biologics design, and translational consulting for biotech and pharma partners. Before joining YUMAB, he held senior roles at Apogenix and Graffinity, with a strong foundation in protein engineering, display technologies, and immune-oncology innovation. He studied biology at the University of Hannover, where he also received his Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry in 1997.
