Nathan Robertson is VP and Co-head of Antibody Discovery at Divergence Labs. He trained as a biophysicist, completing a PhD at Imperial College London, and spent eleven years at Heptares Therapeutics as its second scientist engineering thermostabilised GPCRs for structure-based drug discovery. He has since led antibody discovery and protein engineering at OXGENE, where he developed a mammalian display platform, MiroBio (checkpoint agonist antibodies), LabGenius (machine-learning-guided design) and LifeArc, where he headed a biologics discovery team of 27. His work spans difficult membrane-protein targets, agonist antibodies and AI-guided engineering, with publications in Nature, Cell and Immunity.
