Mark Lim
Mark Lim is Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of AmberGen and a co-inventor of the company’s core spatial multiomic technologies. For more than 20 years, he has led the scientific advancement of AmberGen’s photocleavable linker and mass-tag platforms that underpin its MALDI-based spatial imaging capabilities and drug-inclusive MaxOmic™ services platform. He earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Boston University, with extensive training in cell biology, physiology, proteomics, and mass spectrometry, and has over 25 years of biotechnology industry experience. Dr. Lim has guided the translation of AmberGen’s innovations from foundational chemistry into research, diagnostic, and drug development applications. A strong advocate of highly multiomic spatial imaging, he champions integrated tissue analysis to generate deeper mechanistic insight into biological processes. He is a named inventor on more than 20 U.S. patents and has authored over 15 peer-reviewed publications.
