 Lisiena Hysenaj, Ph.D., is a translational immunologist with extensive experience bridging discovery research and clinical development. She earned her doctorate at the Centre d’Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, where she built NextGen Organoid systems to identify tumor-reactive and virus-specific T cells. In industry, she has contributed to early-stage biotech innovation at NextVivo, where she helped expand tumor-reactive T cells using patient-derived organoids, and later at Parvus Therapeutics, where she led immunogenicity assessments, biomarker development, and preclinical models supporting IND-enabling studies. Passionate about mentoring junior scientists and communicating complex immunology across disciplines, Dr. Hysenaj is focused on applying her scientific and leadership expertise to translate biotech breakthroughs into transformative therapies.
