Kristeen A. Pareja-Navarro is a scientist and biotech founder developing therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. She is Co-Founder and CEO of EngramBio, where she leads a program advancing a KIBRA-derived peptide to repair synapses in Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Before founding EngramBio, she spent seven years at the Buck Institute, where her first-author publications in the Tracy lab earned a cover feature in the Journal of Clinical Investigation and a highlight in Trends in Neurosciences. She earned her PhD in Pharmacology from Cornell University and was named one of seven winners of the 2025 NIA Startup Challenge.
