Dr. Joshua Talboom is a science and technology advisor for the West at 10x Genomics, which he joined in 2021 as a field application scientist. He earned his Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Arizona State University in 2011, studying age, sex, and hormonal influences on learning and memory. His postdoctoral research focused on the multiomics of aging and neurodegenerative diseases across numerous single-cell and spatial multiomic projects. Josh's single-cell expertise spans sample preparation through informatics data processing and statistical analysis, supporting researchers using 10x’s Chromium, Visium, Xenium, and Atera platforms, to identify rare cell populations, novel biomarkers, and therapeutic targets.
