Jing Fu is a Senior Scientist at Apellis Pharmaceuticals with over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical development. She has led the development of peptide and oligonucleotide drug products, with a focus on subcutaneous and intravitreal formulations. Her experience spans pre-formulation, formulation and process development, technology transfer, drug-device combination products, and CMC support for global regulatory submissions, including INDs, NDAs, IMPDs, and MAAs. Jing has led cross-functional efforts supporting analytical characterization, extractables and leachables assessments, device compatibility studies, manufacturing readiness, and regulatory filings. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute
