Jacob Hecksher-Sørensen is Director of imaging and innovation at the biotech company Gubra where he is heading an imaging facility that enables 3D imaging of whole mouse organs at the single cell level. He has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry where he has been applying 3D microscopy to study various diseases. His research particularly focuses on understanding the how metabolism is regulated by the brain.
