Will Ferguson is a distinguished life sciences executive with over two decades of experience driving commercial growth and strategic innovation. Most recently, as VP of Pharma/Biotech Collaborations at Illumina, he spearheaded high-impact business development and biopharma drug discovery partnerships. Will has held pivotal leadership roles at Agilent, Complete Genomics, Genuity Sciences, and BlueBee, demonstrating a master-level proficiency in scaling sales teams and executing go-to-market strategies across tools, services, and software. Notably, he co-led the formation of the Alliance for Genomic Discovery (AGD) a landmark partnership sequencing 313,000 whole genomes with 10 biopharma participating and recently directed the groundbreaking 1 Billion Cell Atlas initiative with AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, and Merck. He holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from New Mexico State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business.
