Eyal Weinstock is the GEO (Gene Expression Optimization) team leader at Converge Bio, where he works on applying generative AI and computational approaches to accelerate protein manufacturing and other CMC issues. Previously, he co-founded BiomX, a microbiome therapeutics company developing bacteriophage-based treatments, helping grow it from an academic project into a publicly traded company advancing clinical-stage programs. Eyal holds a B.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and a M.Sc. in Microbiology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and is passionate about combining data science, AI, and experimental biology to drive innovation in the life sciences.
