Ercole Rao is a biologist with over 25 years of industrial experience in antibody and protein therapeutics. He earned his PhD from the University of Heidelberg and currently leads Sanofi’s Engineered Protein Therapeutics Group in Frankfurt. His team has contributed to six clinical candidates, including bi- and tri-specific antibodies, and advanced nanobody technologies. Ercole is recognized for his innovation in protein engineering, with over 30 publications and 20 patents.
