Daniella Pretorius is a biochemist and protein design scientist, trained as a structural biologist with a PhD focused on protein design. Her academic research combined experimental and computational approaches across wet and dry labs at Imperial College London, with research visits at MIT. She is currently the Protein Design Lead at Latent Labs, where she played a key role in the launch of Latent-X1 and Latent-X2, frontier generative models for protein binder and antibody design.
