Bhavna Verma, PhD is an experienced scientist in preclinical and translational ImmunoOncology research with expertise in development and validation of in vivo and ex vivo platforms for evaluation of therapeutics for solid and hematologic malignancies. Currently, Bhavna is working at Lexeo Therapeutics as Associate Director, clinical bioanalytical development. Prior to that she worked at Allogene and Tmunity supporting allogenic and autologous CAR-T programs respectively. Bhavna began her industrial career at Champions Oncology (CRO) developing PDX and primary tumor based in vivo and ex vivo platforms.

Bhavna obtained her PhD from Texas Tech University of Health Sciences Center where she worked on TCR mimicking antibodies and elucidating its mechanism of action in vivo and in vitro. During her postdoctoral tenure she gained knowledge and experience in the development and application of recombinant bispecific platforms for targeted delivery of immunomodulatory agents into the tumor microenvironment.
