Alexander Ivliev holds a master’s and a PhD degree in Bioinformatics. He spent the first 10 years of his career in bioinformatics professional services and consulting at Clarivate Analytics. In that role, Alexander was supporting pharmaceutical and biotech companies as clients across computational biology applications such as target ID, biomarker discovery, patient stratification, drug MoA elucidation, and others. Alexander then joined Ikena Oncology as Director, Computational Biology. In this current role, Alexander is responsible for the bioinformatics function of the company with the goal of accelerating the development of Ikena’s small molecule inhibitors for cancer treatment.
