Poster Presentation: Building academic–Industry partnerships to accelerate CRISPR-based therapies
The Danaher–IGI Beacon for CRISPR Cures is a strategic academic–industry partnership focused on accelerating CRISPR-based therapies for inborn errors of immunity through a scalable platform model. Despite rapid genomic advances, clinical translation is still limited by delayed diagnosis, off-target risks, manufacturing complexity, and fragmented development pathways. The Beacon addresses these barriers by integrating reusable workflows, shared regulatory strategies, and cross-functional expertise across programs such as ARTEMIS-SCID and HLH. By advancing platform-based IND approaches, the initiative aims to streamline development, enable faster adaptation across indications, and build a foundation for broader, more scalable access to CRISPR cures worldwide.
