Certain cell characteristics have been reported throughout literature which correlate to functionality. Examples of such relationships include cell metabolism and proliferation, T cell polyfunctionality and efficacy, and stemness and persistence. Most significantly, these individual aspects have also been correlated to clinical outcome. With this knowledge, Excellos360 was created to 1) capture these explanatory variables (in addition to others), and 2) condense the many observed variables into a coherent metric. The result of this multiparametric methodology is a tool that retains correlation to canonical T cell assays and is used as a prescreening strategy to generalize the potential of cellular starting material.
